Nine days after a devastating flash flood triggered by a glacier collapse in Nepal, search teams successfully rescued two trapped workers alive from the Trishuli 3A hydropower plant tunnel. With over 1,300 people killed and thousands still missing across Nepal and Tibet, the rescue of the two men—who reported that others remain alive inside—has renewed hope for ongoing international and local search operations targeting hundreds of missing tunnel workers.
